The Sit & Click VIII Remote Controller is the first of its kind available to control the ON / OFF function of common appliances. The system may be used to control any appliance up to 5A. The range of the I.R. Remote controller is up to 10 Meters depending on the battery condition. This remote controller is aimed at shops and establishments where energy saving is an essential feature. Lights and fans may be kept off until required and may be operated by a single remote controller.

  Unit Installation

The unit is designed for easy installation. The output consists of nine pairs of wires. One pair [Red & Black] are connected to the mains power supply. The remaining eight sets of wires go across existing switches on the switchboard. Similar colour wires must be connected across each switch. When the relay in the unit goes on, the output is energised, similar to turning the switch on manually. The existing switch on the switchboard must be kept OFF at all times to ensure correct operation of the remote controller. The unit consumes less than 4 Watts of power and should remain ON at all times. Please ensure that a qualified electric contractor installs the appliance controller for maximum performance and safety.
  Operation

Ensure that the IR receiver unit is installed correctly and is powered up. Point the remote controller at the unit and press any of the eight switch buttons to operate the unit. Turn ON or OFF lights, fans etc. The numbers on the remote controller shows the switch number which operates on the controller. The button action is to toggle the switch. Press once to ON and press again to turn OFF the switch output.

Please ensure that the unit's sensor lens opening is kept clear and clean at all times for reliable operation.
