| Matrix Key Board |
Analog Interface Board |
IR Interface board |
This board consists
of a 4 x 4 matrix keyboard. This board can
be used along with Display board to realize
a left entry keyboard, a right entry keyboard,
etc. All the 8 lines of the keyboard are terminated
at a 10pin FRC connector. This board can be
connected to any of the port connectors on
the main board - except ADC connector.
|
This board has the following
provisions:
Variable D.C. (0-5v) source.
Thermistor signal-conditioning circuit
Serial ADC (MCP 3201)
An R-C network to realize DAC circuit using
P.W.M signal.
Discrete ADC using a comparator and the R-C
DAC.
|
This board has an IR
receiver properly configured and connected
to the power supply. The main board may be
interfaced to the IR input board with the
FRC connector. |

| Direct Keys interface |
Sink / Source LED interface
|
NTC / Thermistor and ADC
input board |
| interface
has 8 pushbutton keys. Each key is connected
to ground at one end and the other end is
terminating at the connector. |
This
interface consists of 8 red LEDs connected
in sink / source mode. The LEDs may be configured
to sink or source by connecting the anode
or the cathode to ground or supply. The inputs
and outputs are terminated at the FRC connector
which intefaces to the main board.
|
This
board has a Thermistor connected to the FRC
cable. A Potentiometer is also connected to
the FRC. You can use either the Thermistor
or the Potentiometer to simulate an ADC input
to the main board. |
| Stepper Motor
/ DC motor board |
Also available: |
 |
This
board allows you to connect either a stepper
motor or a DC motor. One ON/OFF switch and
two push button switches are also on board
which allows you to configure the ON-OFF and
the direction of the motor. |
Comprehensive manual with schematis and
source codes to run each of the modules above
independantly. The codes are both in C and
in Assembly. All codes are available for the VTU syllabus
in this manual. |
