Projects
Our projects program is a unique experience in learinig embedded control design. Employers look at experience. We provide you with hands on experience and show you what design is all about. You will learn how to design the schematics, design PCBs and finally code in Assembly or C language using the state of the art tools and equipment we have in our lab.

During the project, we teach you more about the PIC and other devices that go with the design. You will also learn more about designing a schematic diagram, the instruction set, coding in assembly language and if you prefer, coding in C language. You will also learn to use the state of the art tools like Emulators and test jigs that form a part of product development. At the end of the project, you would be familiar with the product development cycle leading up to productionizing of the product.

We beleive that a hands on experience would be more beneficial to a student who wishes to learn to use the PIC micro and get a job - and show that he actually can do something!!

So do come and join us at Buildmet Technologies. Our fees are most competitive at an average of Rs.3500 per student with a minimum batch of 4 students. At the end of the project, we give you a work experience certificate that you would be proud of and you would leave confident that you can handle any job that comes your way!!!

We never do the same project again!!! All projects are concept driven - either your concept or our own. We have lots of product concepts in the industrial, automotive, consumer market and other technology related fields where you can participate with other batches as a team to complete the projects. If you are technically good, you may be selected to do a live project for one of our customers.

Some of the projects recently undertaken by us include the following titles:

  1. Small Webserver [2003]
  2. Single chip webserver [2003]
  3. Internet controlled I/O [2003]
  4. TCP to Ethernet interface [2003]
  5. Digital and Analog Interface through the internet [2003]
  6. Serial port controlled 12 channel temperature scanner [2003]
  7. Anemometer with serial data logger interface. [2004]
  8. Electric fence with low power consumption [2004]
  9. Two wheeler trip tracker [2004]
  10. RFID transponder reader interface [2004]
  11. RFID time and attendance system [2004]
  12. RFID library maintenance system [2004]
  13. RFID Vehicle Tracking System [2004]
  14. dsPIC based light intensity controller [2005]
  15. dsPIC based audio noise reduction system [2005]
  16. dsPIC based motor controller. [2005]

We also have rental facility for users of the PIC micro who wish to do projects here and use our facility and tools. Some of the tools are pictured below. There are lots more and test jigs, power supplies etc, that we cannot show here...
